Since 1949, Apex has been creating numerous special product lines for resolving technical problems or for very specific markets: Three innovations in the Duck dustpans  Normal dustpans with a long handle have two problems: they fall over easily and it’s hard to keep them still during use because the tall handle destabilises their centre of gravity. Apex has resolved both these problems by adding a rear flap that achieves two results: 1 – Widens the base of the pan at the back, making it far more stable, 2 – Provides somewhere to put your foot so that you can keep the pan still while brushing the dirt and dust onto the pan. The handle for the pan has a third innovation: the universal hook for hanging the brush, which can be used on the pans with either a short or long handle. These three innovations mean greater ease of use which, in the long term, means saving hours of work to those who do domestic or professional cleaning. Window cleaner in micro-fibre with flexible support to ensure the optimum angle  Apex has developed a special window cleaner which is currently the only one with a micro-fibre cloth held on a flexible support. This flexible support keeps the cloth always at the best angle so that it stays flat on the glass during drying and polishing. The micro-fibre can be washed in a machine and is extremely hardwearing. This technical solution by Apex is patented. Floor cleaner in 18/10 stainless steel for hospitals UK hospitals have very stringent technical regulations about the tools that can be used for cleaning operating theatres. In the specific instance investigated by our British distributor, it has to be possible to sterilise even floor cleaning tools in an autoclave. To meet this need, Apex has developed a special Squizzo model in 18/10 stainless steel which is particularly robust and reliable because it can be sterilised in an autoclave. |
